Hickery Dickery Dock

There was a mouse in my office today.
Now you'd ask what's so special about a mouse in an IT firm. Well, this one was the one with teeth, fur, tail and all... (keep watching this space if you'd like to see how a mouse looks like in an office)
Now the mouse traps near XVaXsuX's Vasu's (no one reads my posts; whom should I hide names from then) desk make sense.

In the evening, spotted another one in the canteen.
Maaan, this place is filled with vermin.
...both bipeds and quadrupeds.
Might considering making the Vada pav-walla outside full time now.

Last Monday was one of the happiest day in my life, on a very-short-term-gain basis, considering that I have resigned now. The tar-ridden potholes (sic) along Nahar Amrut Shakti was repaired, providing some much needed relief for my buttocks/back. Before you jump into conclusions, let me clarify that I am talking about my rick ride to and from office through the stretch. That piece of land combined with the Homicidal Genocidal auto-wallas was taking it's toll on me.

Just 2 months back my rick hit a cat crossing the road (no fault of the auto-walla here though). Then it was the turn of a dog. And finally a human being. Ok it wasn't like my auto knocked over someone, just a pedestrian getting brushed by it. The guy cut his finger, gave some expletives to the auto-walla that involved having nonconsensual sex with his mother and sister. But Mr. Cool Auto-walla just looked at him, mumbled something undecipherable and left.
Something is seriously wrong with the auto-wallas here lately. Someone better tell them that this is NOT a video game.
That doesn't deter me from traveling by one everyday. But now I live with a constant fear that any rick ride would be my last.

Ok, have drifted enough. Chal bye... (expect more such titbits of ..er ...hmm.. 'things' more frequently, though there are some longer posts lined up from the time of my stay in Chennai)

Now Playing:
