Hi people, this is my first post.
Dunno where to start. Bear with me for this first post. And dont expect the I-know-every-word-from-my-flash-cards-English from me, I am not preparing for GRE or CAT. So here goes.....
Dont have anything new to tell. So let me recount my account of 26/7.
I was stuck in college the whole time. Actually i preferred to get stuck. Colege got over by 2:30 after trains stopped running. I waited in college to hang out with my friends. Then I waited some more with my friends. We were makig fun of some of our friends who lived in far off places (Thane, Dombivli et al. ).
Then some more time passed and finally it started to get late. Me and 3,4 of my friends (who travel back home together) then decided to stay back ( we could have gone back home if we had been quick! but, what the heck). Then some 10 of us stayed back. Cell phones were not working. anyways I hadnt got my sim card from orange. So didnt matter much to me. To top all this, placements were goin on for Capgemini!!
So some of my friends were busy with placy work. Me and Anshu went to the placy cell ( Placement cell ) , connected his discman to the PC speakers ( dont get me started on the placy PC !), and were listening to some f***ing metal when all of a sudden the lights went out. Great, now it set in, that we were actually STUCK in college. People found new use for their cell phones, as torches in the dark. In between all this we get a rumour that Vashi bridge has collapsed!! Can you believe it!!
Luckily a friend had a pack of cards. We played for some time then some of them bought dinner from a nearby hotel. But now the fun part, there was food for only 10 of us, but soon we realised there were many more in the college. We somehow managed to keeep the food to ourselves. The came the most boring part, the long wait for morning so that we could figure out a way to leave. Somehow we passed the time, playing stupid kiddish games, tried sleepin in the lab, but the darn mosquitos wouldn't let us. ( I know its gettin boring, but it'll all end soon.)
Exit night, enter morning. We left college at around 7 and went to the bus stop. Then we find that a Ganesh's dad had got his car and he too was stuck in Nerul. Got a lift home. Took us 2 and a half hours where it only takes half an hour to get home, that the last phase was covered on foot. You see all roads were jammed. Now how we reached home is a completely different story. Dont worry, you will get to hear it sometime ( as if you want to, after reading this 10,000 word essay).
I must say though, that this had been a fun experience. At the end of the day i wondered what this experience had taught me, the way in which it had changed my outlook to life, and I came to the conclusion...... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! What lesson can anyone learn from a rainy day anyway?!?! It sounds so mature when you write those lines na? huh? Everyone wants to conclude something like this with such words. I HATE doin so.
Anyways, here I would like to conclude my first innings. Dont touch that remote ( or mouse). Stay tuned for more from Frost.

Food wasnt the only supplies we needed. Ganesh had slipped n sprained his ankle, still he managed to come out with me n get stuff like candles for the night. We waded through knee deep water, with a broken umbrella, to get the stuff. Food was bought by Durvesh n Sabah.
